I recently had the pleasure of staying at Clematis House in Cheltenham with my family for a week while visiting some relatives in the area. the location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was near the centre of Cheltenham and close to our family members. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money, especially considering the high prices due to the Cheltenham racing season. Clematis House offered excellent value compared to other options we looked at. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Karen, who made us feel right at home. the attention to detail in the accommodation was evident, with comfortable rooms overlooking the garden and little touches like bags of popcorn and chocolate snacks provided. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast. the variety of options, including cereals and yoghurts, ensured that there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy. the freshly cooked breakfasts were exceptional, and we found ourselves looking forward to the meal each morning. the friendly atmosphere at the breakfast table made our mornings even more enjoyable, as we engaged in conversation with other guests and the lovely staff. One of the things that stood out to us was the entertainment options available at the hotel. There was a great selection of activities for families, including board games and books, which kept us entertained during our downtime. It was a nice touch to see that the hotel catered to families and provided options for quality time together. Overall, our experience at Clematis House was delightful. the comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and family-friendly amenities made our stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a welcoming and enjoyable place to stay in Cheltenham. Thank you to Karen and the team for a wonderful stay.
